At the moment we are not accepting any new volunteers, but if you would like to be put on file for when we are, please complete the form. We arereally sorry, but due to thecomplexities of Child Protection Law we do not accept volunteers under the age of 18.
There are lots of different ways you can get involved. We not only need experienced and budding broadcasters, but people with business and professional skills, who feel that they can offer a little time to this community based project.
All our studio based volunteers are expected to get involved in other aspects of our operation, such as joining our road crew when we are at events across the community, attend fundraising events, and become involved in researching and adding content to our News Feed and Events Guide.
We have already trained a number of volunteers, like you to present radio programmes, but priority will go to those who are prepared to show a regular commitment and put more into the station.
Trafford Sound is the trading name of a community interest company, Trafford Community Media CIC. We are run on a not-for-profit basis and as such any income made from advertising and sponsorship will be used to develop the services we offer and to allow us to train more people within our community.
The next step is to fill out and submit this form
To become part of our broadcasting team you will be required to reach an acceptable standard through our training scheme and presenter mentoring
We will expect all volunteers to support Trafford Sound in promotional activities and other non-broadcast duties from time to time including attending and supporting fundraising events
Priority will be given to those who either live or work in Trafford, or have a strong connection with the area
All volunteers will be expected to assist with fundraising activities to support the running costs of the station
Sorry, but at present, we are unable to accept volunteers under the age of 18
Before submitting, have you read the notes/rules?
